The Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager will be part of the Engineering Cluster under the Academic Programmes Administration Division. He/She will provide administrative support to the Programme Leaders in the areas listed below. (This role is currently stationed at SIT@Dover; Engineering Cluster will be moving to SIT Punggol Campus in 2025.)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage the operations of new/existing degree programmes.
  • Assist in timetabling/scheduling classes, as well as booking facilities.
  • Assist in exam matters such as organising Board of Examination meetings and preparing slides.
  • Organise and manage events such as workshops, meetings and dialogue sessions.
  • Support university events e.g. graduation ceremony, open house etc.
  • Administer procurement process for various programmes.
  • Work closely with external counterparts such as Collaborators, Overseas Universities and Polytechnics.
  • Record notes or minutes of meetings.
  • Manage student related matters such as processing student claims and withdrawal. 
  • Involved in preparation for programme accreditation.
  • Other programme support assignments as required by the Cluster Director, Programme Leader, or Director of Programmes.
Requirements:
  • A Degree from a recognised Institute of Higher Learning.
  • Preferably with experience in a similar position.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word). Familiarity with automation tools would be an advantage.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • A highly motivated individual and a good team player.
